El-Ark Electric Company Inc., located in El Dorado, Arkansas, has been in the electrical contracting business for the last 28 years. The principals of El-Ark are Don Orr and Jim Jones. Don has been in the electrical contracting business for 35 years and Jim is a registered Professional Engineer in Arkansas, Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi with 40 years experience in electrical construction, maintenance and project management.
El-Ark Electric is equipped to handle an extensive array of electrical work from light commercial to heavy industrial projects. We have experience in the design, installation, maintenance and upgrading of electrical systems for power, lighting, high voltage automated process controls, programmable controls, motion controls, energy management systems and more. We also perform work on low energy systems including voice and data cabling, high speed data network infrastructure systems and fiber optics. We also specialize in Arc Flash Hazard Analyses and Assessments including performing the initial and updating analyses, mitigation of high Arc Flash Hazards, Arc Flash Labeling and training for qualified and non-qualified employees.
